Two-on-two – Video book
Building up of the passing situation (complex 1)
Passing situation 1
The ball is moving to the passing spot. The non passer is leaving the spot for setting. The passer goes to the net after passing (covering movement). Attack after leaving the net (attacking after blocking)
Passing situation 2
Open exercise: the non passer goes to the other side to make it a 2 player passing situation.
Goal: the non passer becomes the passer on the other side with less time for observing the ball trajectory.
Passing situation 3
Mirrors 1 and 2 with the accent on spreading the body instead of moving the feet (enlarging the personal space – kinesphere).
Same principle, but in defense (complex 2)
What is the trainer watching?
In every part (reception, defense, …) we are looking intently when the player moves:
- Before passing
- Before setting
- Before attacking
- After attacking
We don’t stress the technical execution but the reading of the game.
